Role Description: The Venture Capital Associate must have at least 5+ years of experience. In this role, you will be joining the market-leading corporate transactional practice in Austin, focusing on emerging growth and venture capital.
For this role, you should have 3-4 full years of experience from a top tier law firm, focusing primarily on working with emerging growth companies and the institutional investors that support them.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience representing both institutional investors and issuers in venture capital financing, as well as experience with M&A transactions and advising emerging growth companies on a variety of day-to-day corporate matters.
- Must have excellent project management, communication and written skills, as well as strong academic backgrounds from nationally recognized law schools.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience
- JD and admitted to practice in Texas
Education: J.D. (Juris Doctor or Doctor of Law)
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience
Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses
Travel: No
Local Preferred: Yes
Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
