Overview
We are proactively seeking a Help Desk Technician for future roles within our growing IT Staffing Division. At ESI, the IT Staffing & Recruitment Team partners with our IT Clients to uncover, facilitate, and fill their staffing needs. The technician will provide accurate and timely technical support to customers via telephone, email and chat. The calls will be technical in nature with varying degrees of priority. In this role. The Technician is also responsible for escalating the call/ticket to the appropriate resource.
Responsibilities
Remotely troubleshoot hardware and software issues
Answer a high volume of incoming calls from internal clients
Provide Level One and Level Two support and escalate as needed
Provide excellent customer service always
Document details of all calls and update ticketing system appropriately
Qualifications
Qualifications
Excellent documentation, communication, and customer service skills
Strong working knowledge of PC's and laptops
Ability to troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues remotely
Ability to think outside the box and identify root cause
Working knowledge of major networking components, network operating systems and basic computer hardware components
Prior experience with ticketing systems (Service Now, Remedy, ConnectWise, etc.)
Prior experience with Windows Operating Systems, MS Office, remote desktop services, and network troubleshooting
Secure remote access
Intermediate experience with iOS/Android mobile platforms
Windows PowerShell (basic)
Required Certifications:
Comptia A+
Microsoft MCT (various)preferred
