What is a Quality Technician Lead?In this role, you will work with warehouse leadership and vendor partners tomaintain the cleanliness and overall high-quality condition of the facility.The primary purpose of this job is to perform daily sanitation of allprocessing lines. You will lead, motivate, and develop sanitation staff toachieve outstanding sanitation results; abiding by the strictest standardsof physical safety and sanitation.
Responsibilities:
Uphold all safety practices to prevent injury from unsafe work practicesand/or conditions. Report all safety hazards or potential hazards to thesafety teamCoordinate all aspects of daily sanitation practices and rodent control(such as sweep and cleaning logs for the sanitation team)Perform analysis of incoming, in process and finished materials usinganalytical standardized proceduresFollow and actively participate in continuous improvement, lean practices,six sigma, 5S, Food Safety, health, sanitation, environmental andplant safety programsOversee the emptying of trash containers and recyclables throughout theproduction facility ensuring bathrooms and break rooms are clean & stockedwith suppliesEffectively communicate with all Team Members regarding proper departmentoperationsManages the preparation and execution of sanitation audits; reporting safetyviolations and hazards immediately to Safety ManagerHire, supervise, train, schedule and mentor Sanitation Team Members
Requirements:2+ years of people leadership experience2+ years of experience in Food Plant Quality AssuranceFamiliarity with lab safety and handling of hazardous materialsHigh School diploma or GED, Bachelor's degree in science related fieldpreferredDemonstrate ability to actively participate in a positive and engaged teamatmosphereMust have excellent communication skills to properly understand and conveyrelevant informationWork well with others to establish and maintain excellent interdepartmentalrelationships
Base pay range $22.00 to $30.00. Pay offered will depend on candidate'sgeographic location, prior relevant experience, knowledge, skills, &abilities. Position may be eligible for afternoon/night shift premiumdepending on the shift OR position may be eligible for on-call pay.
