Job Summary

Clinical Dietitian: Responsible for providing clinical nutrition services, including nutrition assessment, modified diet formulation, self-management training and nutrition intervention to residents/patients. Ensures satisfaction, quality care, regulatory agency compliance, and good public relations are achieved through the safe and efficient use of resources. Promotes a culture of wellness for residents/patients.

Supports accounts in the surrounding Chicago, IL market (included but not limited to: IA, IL, IN, KS, MI, MN, MO, OH, SD, WI with 25% or less out of this territory throughout the rest of the U.S.)

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, and patient rights policies Trains and mentor's patient services staff and interns as applicable Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Qualifications

Qualifications: *

At least two (2) years of managerial experiences in a hospital or nursing care preferred. *

Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to prove care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served *

Able to problem solve independently when warranted, demonstrates knowledge of medical practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations, and nursing care communities *

Must possess excellent customer service & hospitality skills. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: *

Registered Dietitian (Commission on Dietetic Registration). *

Must achieve Registered Dietitian
