POSITION PURPOSE
Join our dynamic healthcare marketing team in Woodcliff Lake, NJ where we are dedicated to shaping the future of infection prevention through innovative and clinically-sound solutions that aim to prevent the spread of infection & save lives.
As the Associate Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting key brands and driving essential initiatives within our Healthcare portfolio. Collaborating closely with Product Managers and Sales leaders, this role will help implement our marketing and commercial strategy to deliver on our core objectives and enable our commercial teams to achieve their financial targets. This role will be a vital contributor in executing day-to-day tactics that support the business and portfolio including, product ownership, ongoing product & sales support, device compatibility management, and competitive intelligence.
Job Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Product Management And Strategy
Help the Product Manager shape the overall product portfolio strategy, including collaborating with R&D teams to develop new products and identifying areas for improvement within the existing product portfolio.
Participate in product reviews to ensure that product specifications are met and that products align with market needs and customer expectations.
Product, Marketing And Sales Support
Mange small portfolio of healthcare products.
Execute downstream marketing activities in partnership with sales, including the development and execution of comprehensive launch strategies to successfully introduce new products and maintain visibility for existing ones.
Take ownership of creating, organizing, and managing marketing collateral in partnership with communications team for both new product launches and existing product campaigns, ensuring that sales and marketing materials effectively communicate product value and benefits. In addition, manager collateral review process with cross-functional partners for portion of healthcare portfolio.
Actively support sales team with product or market specific requests for selected product portfolio.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify customer requirements and gain a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics and customer needs to ensure our products align with evolving market needs.
Product Compatibility Support
Interpret and explain disinfection guidelines from medical equipment and surface materials found in healthcare settings. Update compatibility database while analyzing medical equipment instructions in line with EPA and FDA-regulated documentation and policies.
Collaborate with various departments (Customer Experience, Warehouse, Marketing, and R&D) to manage domestic and international shipments for compatibility testing with Medical Equipment Manufacturers.
Assist sales team with compatibility-related product requests. Create and organize marketing materials related to compatibility in collaboration with the marketing communications team.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
Product portfolio performance: Sales, costs, etc.
Impact of marketing efforts: Sales, leads, views, etc.
External / internal stakeholder satisfaction: Feedback, reviews, etc.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in business, marketing, health sciences, or engineering.
Required Knowledge
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint and familiarity with salesforce.com.
Advanced communication and organizational skills.
Experience Required
Minimum of 2-3 years in healthcare industry or B to B role.
Minimum of 2-3 years of previous experience in product management, marketing and/or sales is preferred.
Skills/Abilities
Confidently and expertly drive various projects to meet stated goals within projected timeframes.
Strong prioritization and multi-tasking skills to manage multiple activities across the team on a daily basis.
Prior experience with product marketing essential
Exceptionally strong communication skills are a requirement including the ability to collaborate with physicians, sales, and R&D team on product management.
Outstanding project management and team building skills.
High-energy, strong sense of urgency, attention to detail.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Proven ability to influence without authority and work with cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of marketing and portfolio goals.
Excellent organizational, planning, communication and follow-up skills.
Excellent presentation skills for large and small groups.
Ability to provide quantitative and qualitative inputs for the development of business cases and financial assessments (ROI).

Salary Range
$80,000 - $110,000
