JOB SUMMARY:
Direct and manage the sales, service, and marketing for Action Enterprise Logistics (AEL) National Accounts.
Responsible for the revenue, growth, and goal achievement by working in a team-oriented environment with focus on development, implementation, and execution of securing growth with prospects or customers using a coordinated national strategy. The strategy will include achieving growth plans and exceeding budget goals by identifying and attracting prospective strategic customers through aggressively targeting and securing new business and enhancing additional business with existing customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for the management of National Accounts including sales, service, pricing, RFI & RFP management, contract negotiations, corporate account development and management, and travel
· Creating Business Plans for the management of existing and prospective National Accounts
· Take a leading role in presentations and proposals for national accounts and sales activities requiring high-level presence
· Focus on providing the highest levels of customer service while enhancing operational profitability
· Resolving and following up on complaints and queries on behalf of clients
· Ensuring all AEL accounts will be provided excellent support and are well maintained
· Create an atmosphere and attitude for sales and service that enhances creative ideas
· Keep management informed of industry trends, market updates, competitors, new sales leads, and suggest new ways to increase organizational sales
· Responsible for supporting the implementation of sales, marketing, and customer service presentations to the marketplace and monitoring the cost/benefit relationship for all promotional and creative marketing items
· Interacts and communicates with fellow employees and customers in an accurate, courteous, and professional manner in person, by email, and on a telephone.
· Responsible for developing relationships within the organization
· Responsible for developing consistent and efficient reporting requirements
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree in business development, marketing, sales related field, or equivalent experience
· Minimum of five years sales experience with national accounts
· Excellent communication, organizational, follow-through, and interpersonal skills
· Self-motivated, self-starter, who possesses a personable and extroverted personality
· Ability to adapt to fast-paced, multi-faceted working environment
· Aptitude for comprehending technical information
· Professional telephone etiquette, computer literacy, excellent grammar usage, and ability to compose and format business letters and memos
· Ability to conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with customers
· Manage and update data in the CRM, dispatching software (McLeod), and company operating system
· Input, maintain, and update customer contracts
