Responsibilities :
Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations, and adherence to company policies.
Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Manage cash flow by forecasting cash needs, optimizing working capital, and overseeing banking relationships.
Analyze costs and expenses to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions, including pricing strategies, product profitability, and investment opportunities.
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and manage relationships with external tax advisors.
Coordinate annual audits and liaise with auditors to provide necessary documentation and resolve any audit findings.
Lead and develop the finance team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Strong understanding of wholesale industry dynamics, including inventory management, pricing strategies, and supply chain operations.
Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle, with advanced Excel skills for financial analysis.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Compensation :
The Financial Controller position offers a competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
