Job Description Job Description Diamond Braces is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our organization and individual practice offices. Responsibilities will range from crafting a comprehensive P&L program, development of robust financial plans, managing waste, and leadership of the financial department. You will bring experience in multi-entity consolidations and multi-site reporting as an accountant, preferably in a senior role. You will make it your mission to streamline our budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting processes.
This role will be based in our Englewood, NJ headquarters.

Essential Functions Develop comprehensive financial plans for the organization and individual practice offices
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making, identifying areas for improvement and making appropriate recommendations to leadership
Create and maintain accurate and timely P&L statements for the organization, including individual practice offices
Forecast future financial performance based on historical data, market trends, and expansion plans
Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency by implementing cost-saving initiatives
Work closely with department heads to streamline processes and optimize resource utilization
Prepare accurate and insightful financial reports for senior leadership and stakeholders, communicating financial results and key metrics in a clear and concise manner
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory guidelines
Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements, as well as requirements of private contributions, loans, and government contracts
Supervise and mentor the financial department, including the Assistant Controller, Accounting Specialist, and Payroll team.
Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the finance department
