Midtown is searching for Retail Sales Lead to assist our members and customers in our shops. The Retail Sales Lead is responsible for being the member facing point of contact for the selling floor. They will be successful by enhancing the member experience while creating a resort like feel and tribal community that pays attention to personal details. They will be able to handle the everyday responsibilities of the selling floor for staffing and operations to help drive the monthly revenue while elevating the experience to get members to return.
Staff scheduling (understanding and following the guidelines to help maintain a healthy work environment while staying within the perimeters of the monthly income budget)
Handling scheduling conflicts when they arise with the retail associates.
Making sure that opening, closing and mid shift standards are being met and maintained by all associates.
Helping to maintain the presentation of products where needed on the floor.
Onboarding new associates and continued training for current associates on products and procedures for the shop.
Being the point person on the selling floor to handle member issues when the retail associates need assistance.
Helping to guide the staff in their delegated areas of responsibility to stay on top of the needs of the business with regards to product presentation and inventory replenishment needs.
Communicating replenishment needs to the Director of Retail
Greet customers, respond to questions, improve engagement with merchandise, and provide outstanding customer service
Operate cash registers and manage financial transactions
Direct customers to merchandise within the store
Ensure that retail space stays uncluttered
Introduce promotions and opportunities to customers
Requirements:
Previous retail experience preferred
Ability to engage with a wide variety of people
