Position Description
Purpose
The purpose of this role is to support company operations growth and development through planning, implementing, and directing the Treasury, Risk Management, Credit, Contracts, and Project Accounting/Billing functions for Teichert Inc. This role has responsibility for the achievement of company objectives through managing and providing business performance measurements, overseeing banking operations, cash management, financing/credit, risk management strategies, and providing strategy and executive oversite of the functions above to enhance the strategic partnership with Teichert operations. The Treasurer will collaborate with various departments to ensure Teichert's financial health while proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Focus & Scope
Essential duties and responsibilities, i.e. those which are basic, necessary, and an integral part of the job, are indicated below:
Serves as a key member of the Management Team. Establishes, implements, and monitors strategic goals for the Treasury department. Evaluates and stays abreast of industry trends and uses knowledge to lead continuous improvements in existing practices and policies. Ensures that activities remain focused on long range priorities.
Serve as a fiduciary for the Retirement Plans Committee.
Prepares workforce for evolving business needs. Maximizes performance, accountability, and motivation of workforce while maintaining morale. Models innovative/effective management practices.
Establishes, promotes, and protects company's values including diversity, teamwork, fair work environment, and respect of others. Establishes and maintains a "team" spirit across company, instilling a focus on the best use of Teichert resources.
Proactively links collaborative efforts and teaming within and across disciplines and business units. Ensures particular focus on continuous improvement of business performance and consistency of policies, practices, and procedures.
Establishes strategies, standards, policies, and procedures. Plans, directs, and oversees functions, resources, and allocation of funds to ensure a linkage of day-to-day activities to operational priorities.
Ensures the overall effectiveness of treasury and related functions. Specifically, plans objectives, methods, and resources for short and long-range for the department and related responsibilities: ensures effective and efficient use of resources, supports commitments made to customers, and provides timely forecasts of current and future performance measures.
Monitor cash flow and liquidity to support operational needs.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
Manage the organization's investment portfolio/cash within risk tolerance.
Prepare and present financial reports to financial partners and internal stakeholder.
Ensures that timely financial data and cash flow forecasts are provided to company stake holders as well as other financial institutions as requested.
Supports a zero injury culture through visible leadership for Teichert's Injury Prevention and Safety program. Proactively encourages the identification of safety improvements and hazardous/potentially hazardous conditions and productive efforts to maintain a safe and healthy work environment and meet safety standards.
Develops and maintains positive working relationships with other company functions, continuously finding ways to partner and achieve overall and mutual goals. Develops positive relationships with community leaders, financial institutions, and/or other key agencies/individuals.
Responsible for productivity of treasury function and employees. Maximizes employee performance and professional growth. Specifically, provides direction to management personnel; motivates managers to function as a cohesive unit; encourages the development of staff through regular feedback and performance evaluations, setting goals, providing coaching, training, and mentoring opportunities as well as succession planning for key staff.
Responsible for banking and related compliance. Has ultimate responsibility for completion of necessary administrative activities, such as loan covenant documentation, lease contract review, asset protection, documentation files, records, and reports pertaining to treasury.
Responsible for the safeguarding of cash and in partnership with the Controller cash related controls.
Responsible for corporate liquidity, investments, and risk management related to the company's financial activities.
Responsible for setting the insurance risk management strategy and for oversight of the risk management team.
Oversight of the credit rating agency relationships and the extension of credit to customers.
Oversight of the Contract functions of the Company
Oversight of the record keeping of Accounts Receivable and collection risk management.
Oversight of accurate, efficient, and timely job accounting and billing services to the Construction operations group.
Implements internal control policies and procedures for all financial activities.

Role Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
MBA or CPA preferred.
Experience and Industry Expertise: Minimum 10 years' experience in financial management (in construction or materials environment a plus) or equivalent combinations of education and related experience.
Minimum 8 years' experience supervising others.
Specific Job Requirements: Successful completion of pre-employment drug, alcohol, and background investigation.
Valid Driver's License.
Current on all company required safety training.
Knowledge of insurance contracts and law.
Advanced understanding of financial analysis and reporting.
Extensive knowledge of all aspects of corporate accounting and financial management.
Thorough knowledge of company's Standard Operational Procedures and Policies
Ability to preserve confidential and proprietary information and successfully avoid conflicts-of-interests.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare report and policies.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Must possess strong written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
Must possess exceptional organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills.

Work Environment: Typical office environment with adequate temperatures and lighting, low levels of noise. Demands of meeting tight deadlines. Exposed to the conditions of job sites which can include loud noise, dust, fumes, and extreme weather conditions prevalent at the time. May work various hours, including early mornings, dusk or evenings.

BASE SALARY RANGE:
$153,333.00 - $214,667.00
The range displayed reflects the range the company reasonable expects to pay for the position. The actual base salary is subject to variation due to the role, level, geographic location, relevant education, training, or experience, among other factors.
