Our Opportunity
As Snyk's Sr. Manager, Payroll, you'll oversee payroll operations across ten key countries using ADP Workforce Now (US & CA) and ADP Celergo (EMEA) payroll platforms.Beyond payroll processing oversight, you'll own driving the global payroll strategy along with supporting the Shareworks equity taxation implementation project, helping Snyk maintain its commitment to operational excellence as we scale.It’s about ensuring seamless financial processes for a rapidly expanding team dedicated to fortifying digital security. Additionally, you will directly manage and mentor a US based payroll specialist along with a Romania based EMEA Payroll Manager. You’ll play a decisive role in supporting and shaping the growth trajectory of a tech leader in the security domain.
You’ll Spend Your Time:
Providing hands on management of weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payroll operations in a global environment
Designing operational procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency for payroll processing and transactions, which includes leveraging technology for data transfer from Workday to the Payroll Platforms
Ensuring strict compliance with global payroll and tax laws
Overseeing the implementation of Snyk's remaining countries from the existing payroll providers to the ADP Celergo Payroll Platform, ensuring a seamless migration with minimal disruption
Managing global equity compensation processing in payroll (e.g. option exercises and RSUs), for proper income reporting and tax withholding, along with supporting the Shareworks equity taxation module implementation
Participating in the month-end close process to meet reporting deadlines
Partnering closely with the Technical, Tax, Stock Administration, and People Teams to ensure payroll processes are set up to deliver against defined procedures, controls (e.g. ITGCs), and compliance with local laws and regulations
Creating a streamlined, global reconciliation process to ensure all payroll data reconciles to the NetSuite ERP system general ledger
Providing essential support during interim and annual audit processes, ensuring adherence to compliance and data accuracy
Creating SLAs along with the respective KPI’s highlighting the timeliness of issue/ticket responsiveness
Developing key KPIs (e.g. payroll over payroll fluctuation analysis), for monthly review
What You’ll Need:
8+ years of experience in overseeing Global payroll teams, particularly in fast-paced, high-growth environments
5+ years managing payroll staff
A subject matter expert in US payroll tax, along with a thorough understanding of Global reporting rules and regulations
Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to high-integrity handling of sensitive and confidential information
Expertise in the ADP Workforce Now and ADP Celergo Payroll Platforms, or a similar platform, and familiarity with Workday and NetSuite ERP System
