Job Description Job Description We are looking for an energetic, driven, and detail-oriented Travel Specialist. Our Travel Specialists play a key role in our travel team, building itineraries, crafting emails, performing hotel rate checks, arranging concierge services, corresponding with suppliers, and building relationships with our trusted supplier network and clientele. To be a successful travel Specialist, you should have a passion for travel and a desire to inspire others to make their travel dreams come true.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY:

Research, Create, and Execute exceptional itineraries for clients while ensuring the client's preferences are met.

Effectively communicate with clients pre/post travel

Organize itinerary materials for clients including plane tickets, hotel booking confirmations,invoices or other necessary paperwork

Attend ongoing webinars with vendors and suppliers, to become specialized with specific destinations

Stay up to date on changes within the tourism industry including the latest travel restrictions

Network with tour operators regarding packages that you can possibly offer to clients

Skills

Have effective communication skills, written and oral

Proficient computer skills including the ability to multitask with several websites and programs

Proven work experience as a travel agent is a plus

Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems

Fluency in English; multilingualism is a plus

Strong sales skills and commercial awareness

Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively

Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends

Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field is a plus

Personal travel experience will be considered an advantage
