Overview
Manages all accounting and casino financial operations and activities
Produces financial schedules and analysis of revenues, expenses, and capital expenditures.
Develops and maintains labor control activities; ensures accurate processing of payroll and filing complianceof all applicable taxes and reports in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
Responsibilities
Ensures the quality of management operations in all areas of the FinanceDepartment
Plans, forecasts, budgets and projects the future financial performance of the casinos and assess the impact of n the governmental operations as well as develop, maintain and monitor the casino's cash flow needs. Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long term strategic financial objectives.
Ensures proper internal controls and procedures are established, effective and followed, and ensure the safeguarding of the company's assets. Ensures proper trainingsis provided to comply with all internal controlprocedures established.
Coordinates and directs the annual budget process for the Casino. Performs a monthly budget-to actual analysis, explaining material budget variances, and recommending any applicable correctiveactions to the General Manager.
Establish and supervise the effectiveness and adherence of all departmental budget. projections and proformas, after complete consultationwith General Manager, and Department Heads. Establishes goals and objectives
Maintains working knowledge of GAAP standards, and ensures the timely completion of financial reportsand statements, in accordance with same.
Design, implement and monitor internal controls to ensure the integrity of the casinos financial information as well as the safekeeping of their assets. Ensues compliancewith GAAP and applicable federal, stage and local regulatorylaws and rules for financial reporting.
Develops and manages internal controls for finance, cage operation and audit
manages and accountable for cash disbursementand controls for the Cage operations.
Prepares and submits all reports required by all authoritativeagencies.
Works closely with General Manager of the casino to ensure accurate, up-to-date and timelyfinancial information is readily available to ensure efficient flow of operations.
Prepare, review, and files all tax returns and ensures timely payments. Responsible for representing the organization when th returns are audited.
Monitors and controls of the company, the federal and state tax commissions, and Gaming Commission are enforced throughout.
Strategic plaining, negotiation and communicationwith internal/external management.
Responsible for leadership and management and efficient operations of purchasing and inventory control. Supervise the preparation of all inventories- both perishable and non-perishablegoods.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related area from a four year college or university; or six years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of Gaming Operations required. CPA preferred.
Colorado Key Gaming License Required
Knowledge of accounting practices, sales tax items, related IRS materials (1099"s), Hotel Operations, Casino Operations, General Ledger handling etc.
Posted Salary Range
USD $90,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr.
