VP Product Management

SWIVEL Payments is seeking a leader to play a pivotal role in advancing our product capabilities in response to customer and industry demands. This role involves close collaboration with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and the VP of Software Engineering to ensure that our product strategy is innovative, technologically advanced, and aligned with market needs. The VP of Product will lead the product management team in defining product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.

Essential duties include the following:
Develops and executes a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and market demands.
Leads and mentors the product management team in defining product roadmaps, goals, and priorities.
Collaborates with CTO and VP of Software Engineering and partners with the CTO to incorporate new technologies and architectures into product designs and work with the VP of Software Engineering to ensure smooth product launches and updates.
Conducts market research and gather customer insights to guide product development and positioning.
Oversees the entire product lifecycle from conception through launch, growth, and eventual retirement.
Leads cross-functional teams including design, engineering, marketing, sales, and support to drive product success.
Defines and analyzes key product performance metrics to inform decision-making and product enhancements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
Master's degree is a plus but not required.
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in executing SaaS or payment product development.
Proven experience in product management leadership, preferably in a technology-focused company.
Ability to measure and analyze project and operational performance to use in driving improved delivery performance.
Strong ability to develop strategic product visions and analyze market trends.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with various internal and external teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrates leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a product management as well as the whole firm as a member of the executive team.
Basic technical understanding of software development and product technologies.
Solid instincts in business strategy matched with deep analytical thinking.
Define success measures across a program and a portfolio.
Proven ability to lead projects end-to-end to user needs.
Capable of identifying, defining and managing KPIs for program success.
Strong customer service and relationship management skills
Ability to assist with evaluations, feasibility studies, testing and recommendation of competing and alternative solutions which may assist the company in reaching its business objectives efficiently.
Ability to travel nationally or effectively lead remote presentations.
