Marketing Manager

Our education client is looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team full-time.
This position will be Monday-Friday, with the ability to meet onsite at least once per month.
What you will be doing as a Marketing Manager:
Responsible for messaging, marketing campaign assets and materials for recruiting activities
Manage 3 direct reports for accountability of performance and results, coach and mentor
Act as an advisor to division leader on the development of the marketing plan, providing guidelines and advice on the coordination of the marketing plan to the main marketing strategy
Create a strategy to maintain a single marketing brand
Develop compelling and appealing brand positioning, messaging and value to attract prospective students
Contributes to the future marketing vision based on market trends and competitive insights
Develop and deliver persuasive presentations including marketing plans, competitive analysis, event overviews, ROI analytics/performance metrics to executive team
Facilitate internal communications across the company as related to campaign efforts
Recommend process changes, tracking methods for better efficiency and prepares daily and weekly reports, performance metrics and projections to executive/management team
Collaborate and liaises with other staff in ensuring web-based content, policy and procedures manuals are accurate and up to date
Assists or provides guidance in facilitating internal communications across the University as related to campaign efforts
What you need to know as a Marketing Manager:
Bachelors degree in a related discipline; masters degree is preferred
A combination of experience and education may be substituted upon supervisors approval
Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within higher education
Background must include marketing experience within multiple channels, including digital marketing, social media, event planning, print, direct mail, television and radio
Prior management experience is required
Ability to coach, counsel, mentor and motivate staff
Strategic planning skills to assist in defining business models, value proposition, segmentation and targeted marketing
Skilled in the development and execution of sound and timely marketing plans and strategies
Student/customer oriented with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
Demonstrated strong analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills
