As the **Food Safety Auditor I**, you will play a crucial role in the mission of NSF International to protect and improve human health. As a food safety auditor, you will have the opportunity to travel, meet new people and learn more about many of the businesses you may frequent as a consumer. Youll inform and educate restaurant, bar, and grocery store owners about specific standards while continuing to learn more about those industries and grow your skills
**Principal Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:**
* Perform 2nd party audits for retail clients
* Manages own work plans for the completion of audits within a determined timeframe, including schedule and workload
* Summarize audit findings
* Communicates effectively with clients, and account manager
**Qualifications**
**Education and Experience**:
* Verbal and written communication, analysis, and problem-solving
* High School Diploma/GED
* One year minimum of professional experience
* Willing to travel up to a 150-mile radius from Baltimore area
**Preferred Qualifications**
* A Bachelors Degree in a science-based field
* Food safety audit experience
* One to three years of restaurant experience
* Certified CP-FS or willing to obtain
