Minimum Qualifications Education and/or Equivalent Experience: Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or related field plus four (4) years of experience, including two (2) years of experience in a lead/coordinator capacity.
Experience may substitute for education up to a maximum of four (4) years.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Marketing Supervisor will provide leadership and guidance to online, digital, social media, and print marketing projects and initiatives to ensure that all activities align with the department’s marketing communication plan.
This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the programs, daily activities, operations, and personnel in marketing and design functions for the Watershed Protection Department. This position will oversee marketing promotions, web design, content management and purchase of social media, paid advertising campaigns, video production, photo production and management, promotions, and email marketing.

EDUCATION:
Verification of education will be conducted on the top candidate.
Pay Range $31.65 – $39.56
Hours 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday with the ability to telework with supervisor approval.
May require working outside of normal business hours, including evenings, weekends, andholidays as dictated by business needs.

Preferred Qualifications Preferred Experience: Experience supervising a team through collaboration and successful conflict resolution.
Knowledge of marketing-related business practices, including advertising, market research, technology and budgeting.
Experience conducting analytics reporting across multiple platforms to extract key insights for future campaign development and marketing strategies.
Experience using design software and applications for print, digital and web campaigns. Design: Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro.
Duties, Functions and Responsibilities Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned. Provides leadership and guidance to online, digital, and social media marketing projects and initiatives ensuring that all activities align with Marketing Communication Plans.
Ensures that departmental, Council-mandated, and customer program goals are met.
Manages implementation of marketing initiatives and identifies new marketing opportunities.
Coordinates all aspects of the development and production of marketing materials.
Forecasts, monitors project budgets, and assesses workloads of programs.
Develops process flows, creative briefs, and ensures brand governance/compliance.
Coordinates and collaborates with stakeholders and vendors.
Ensures that external vendors meet quality and financial standards. Coordinates payments of invoices and works with the purchasing department to develop and maintain contracts for large purchases.
Provides analytics review of marketing communication campaigns and return on investment (ROI).
Manage the department’s records throughout the lifecycle in compliance with the C i ty’s Records Management Ordinance.

Knowledge of industry-standard graphic design tools, and their use and application.
