Executive Legal Assistant
Location: Century City, Los Angeles, CA
Salary Range: $80K to $110K per year, along with comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, etc.
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire, Hybrid (3 Days Onsite)
LHH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Assistant to provide administrative, clerical, and document processing support to up to three attorneys in the Labor & Employment department of an international law firm in their Century City office. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other secretarial teammates to ensure coverage for attorneys in various practice groups when needed.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with teammates to ensure coverage across practice groups.
Maintain and organize legal files, both physical and electronic, and process correspondence.
Process time entries, open new matters, draft engagement letters, and handle administrative tasks.
Prepare and update litigation spreadsheets, review billing entries, and manage phone and email communication.
E-file documents, update case information, and assist with document management.
Assist with receptionist tasks, overflow work, and other assigned projects.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of Labor & Employment and litigation.
Proficiency in California state and Federal e-filing practices.
Comprehension of various legal court documents.
Excellent multitasking, attention to detail, and time management skills.
Effective communication and collaboration in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
4+ years of legal secretary experience, preferably in a large law firm.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and e-filing systems.
