Join the vibrant and growing team at Voodoo Doughnut! We're on the lookout for an energetic Field Marketing Specialist to enhance our stores' visibility and deepen customer engagement across the country. This is a full-time, in-office position located at our headquarters in Portland, Oregon.

Essential Duties:

Develop strategic partnerships with local businesses and community organizations to create joint marketing campaigns that enhance brand visibility and community involvement.

Represent the company at various public and private events to build brand loyalty and recognition.

Plan, coordinate, and oversee local events such as product launches, community gatherings, and local festivals to increase brand presence and engage directly with customers.

Build and maintain relationships with local media outlets and influencers to secure coverage for store events, new product launches, and other brand-centric stories.

Enhance local digital marketing efforts through effective management of social media, local listings, and targeted email campaigns.

Foster strong relationships across store and cross-functional teams to provide clear communication and updates on marketing initiatives.

Coordinate community partnership efforts to ensure alignment with company goals and increase local community involvement.

Produce materials for presentations and marketing campaigns to ensure local store operations teams are well-informed and aligned with marketing efforts.

Conduct ongoing research to understand local market trends and customer preferences, using this data to inform marketing strategies and product offerings.

Develop and execute innovative promotional campaigns tailored to local events and holidays, including unique doughnut designs or limited time offers to attract new guests.

Identify and implement grassroots marketing efforts to drive traffic and build brand awareness.

Collect and analyze customer feedback specific to the local area to better tailor product offerings and provide local store marketing (LSM) reporting.

Qualifications and Competencies:

Professional Experience and Education:

1-2+ years of professional experience in marketing, preferably with a focus on local or regional campaign management in the retail or food service industry.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field required.

Proficiency in MS Office is essential, with a basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and web analytics tools.

Ability to utilize MS Excel for basic data analysis.

Marketing and Project Management Skills:

Demonstrated ability to develop and execute marketing strategies and promotional campaigns that resonate with local audiences.

Proven experience in managing multiple tasks, making timely decisions, and delivering projects on time.

Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of leading initiatives from conception through to execution.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to serve as a brand ambassador at public events.
