Position Summary
The Department of Cell Biology and Anatomy at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, School of Medicine in New Orleans is seeking applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. Successful applicants will be expected to have or develop an independent nationally funded research program. Preference will be given to individuals with an interest in and record of achievement in neuroscience. Rank and track to be determined by the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Departmental research strengths include, but are not limited to, synaptic physiology, electrophysiology, and computational neuroscience. The Centers of Excellence in Neuroscience, Alcohol and Drug Abuse, Cancer, and Cardiovascular Biology provide additional collaborative opportunities.
