NOC Analyst
TSG has an immediately available opportunity for a NOC Analyst to join an established medical provider in Downtown San Diego. This analyst will work with the Manager of Infrastructure and the Senior Engineer on business continuity projects primarily monitoring, troubleshooting, and configuring their environment. The infrastructure is comprised of Windows and Linux servers, MS SQL, IIS, Apache, Azure SaaS/PaaS, Microsoft 365, VMware virtualization, Active Directory, mobile devices (BYOD and corporate owned), HPE/Aruba, Meraki, VeloCloud and IoT medical devices.

Duties and Essential Responsibilities
Administers and monitors the organization's wide-area, local area, and wireless networks, including hardware, software, and SaaS solutions.
Acts as an escalation point for NOC Technicians and IT Technical Support staff for system or network incidents.
Assists in installing, monitoring, and administering network extensions for new sites, systems, and equipment.
Monitors and evaluates Internet and Intranet usage for performance and security policy compliance.
Assists in troubleshooting physical DELL & HPE servers, SAN/NAS storage appliances, VMware, LAN/WAN/WLAN equipment, Azure SaaS/PaaS, and software problems.
Understands and interprets error conditions and messages, assisting in corrective actions.
Education/Certifications/Licenses/Registrations: Ability to travel within San Diego County, with vehicle insurance and clean driving record.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Systems, including network hardware and software management.
Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred certifications: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA.
Experience/Specialized Skills: Advanced knowledge in network management, TCP/IP troubleshooting, and various hardware/software technologies.
Detail-oriented and committed to high-quality work.
Self-sufficient, innovative, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Some training and experience in server and network hardware/software, including MS Solutions, VMware, and Azure virtualization.
Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Working knowledge of network and system design concepts, including LANs, WANs, WLANs, security protocols, and system design best practices.
