Your Role You will delegate responsibility across a range of departments and manage overall performance of the warehouse. You will develop strategic plan to establish warehouse objectives in regards to cost, productivity, customer service and profit. As a 3PL provider, we will count on your leadership skills to help drive excellent service for our valued customers. Your Responsibilities Develop strategic plan for optimized productivity.
Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changes.
Participate in trade organizations.
Ensure the development of systems and procedures to manage physical facilities, human resources, equipment and products in a profitable
manner.
Conduct operations in compliance with federal, state, local statutes andOSHA regulations.
Remain knowledgeable regarding changes in hardware and software technology.
Assist in the establishment of customer service standards for all accounts,
communicating these standards to all personnel. Maintain appropriate contact
with customers and respond to requests when required.
Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships.
Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality in sanitation,
maintenance, security, housekeeping, quality and safety of equipment.
Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans.
Reviewing customer contract and assist in negotiation/pricing.
Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of all involved.
You will monitor Human Resource policies and procedures.
Your Skills and Experiences Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
10+ years in warehousing
7+ years of management experience; 3PL experience is strongly preferred
2+ years of experience with leading and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Continuous Process Improvement
