We are looking for an Account Director to join Media.Monks rapidly growing team. We are recruiting a go-getter with a passion for sports marketing through content and brand experience who will manage accounts across a variety of industries. In this role, you'll own client relationships, commercial success, anticipate opportunities, and work quickly and flexibly across internal and external teams to deliver programs with excellence. In partnership with account leadership, operations, and production teams, you'll lead the day-to-day client experience across a variety of projects and programs.
The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about content and sports marketing, and understands end to end brand experience. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in branded content and creating digital and physical experiences across the entire brand ecosystem. They should have strong project management skills, direct experience with client communication, and the ability to juggle multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment. They should have strong business acumen and a entrepreneurial growth mindset.
The day-to-day:
Own the client relationship and provide strategic consult
Collaborate with your subject matter expert colleagues to produce great work.
Learn all our service offerings to best serve our clients' needs.
Help structure and build new client teams.
Partner with clients on creative briefs and direct client presentations.
Provide clients with solutions and recommendations. Collect client feedback and ensure it is reflected in revisions.
Communicate project requirements to project managers, producers, strategy and creative, in order to meet client expectations.
Manage all processes required in order to obtain a range of client approvals.
Manage any internal ticketing or project management systems used by the client.
Oversee all scheduling of key internal and external meetings.
Create and update all spreadsheets, creative folders and other documents across platforms.
Manage the financial process including MSA, SOW, budgets, revenue tracking and internal reporting.
Know our staffing and profitability. Forecast and manage resources while advising senior account management.
What you bring:
5+ years of marketing experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally with some experience working in-house at a global brand.
Brand experience and branded content experience
Demonstrated ability to execute large-scale projects and programs, working with internal and external partners
Must be a self-starter who can operate in a constantly evolving team environment
Seasoned at managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
A knack for unraveling complex problems and processes in an easy to understand way
High energy and go getter attitude; comfortable working autonomously
Must have excellent problem solving and analysis skills with presentation development skills
Experience managing budgets and a high level of business acumen
Skilled communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including both professional and casual style of communication
Proficient in Google docs, slides, sheets or equivalent (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Media.Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Media.Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting.
