Job Summary
The sales executive, through interaction with brokers (third parties) and customers closes highly profitable energy deals for Vistra Corp. The Sales Executive I manages a portfolio of new and/or developing broker relationships, negotiating and closing contracts contributing to an individual sales goal. Sales Executive also manages the receipt and close loop communication for post-sales service issues. Sales Executive will leverage the Third Party Sales team inboxes to source and manage broker relationships. Key Accountabilities:
· Meet or exceed company sales and customer service objectives · Engage in necessary sales conversations related to customer data, margin, and partner fees to quote and close custom contracts · Understand pricing across territories and process signed contracts as received · Maintain accurate and timely customer information with sales operations, ensuring customer and/or broker issues are resolved in a timely manner · Work with management to refine sales strategy to optimize efficiency and results · Capacity to work independently or as part of a sales team Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:
• 1-2 years job related experience is preferred • Experience managing an individual quota is a plus • Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, negotiation, and presentation skills • Ability to work at a fast pace with minimal supervision • Capacity to work independently or as part of a sales team • High school diploma or equivalent, experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills Key Metrics:
· Sales Pipeline Management: maintain accurate account information, including won/lost sales opportunities, for reporting and forecasting business performance · Portfolio Management: Focus on delivering positive experiences with partner, log touchpoints in Salesforce, work to increase bids/win rates with new and/or developing partners · Close loop communication of service and payment inquiries within established SLA (internal and external) · Meet or exceed assigned sales goals · Data Accuracy: validate all customer and pricing data are properly entered to ensure proper billing and partner payment Job Family
