Director of Sales - Cambria Hotel by Choice Hotels

Job Summary:
Our sales leader at Cambria Hotel Columbus - Polaris is responsible for driving YOY revenue growth for the hotel. This individual will nurture relationships with our existing clients and develop new LNR accounts. This is a full-time, individual contributor role that requires sales experience and a passion for the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Choice corporate sales, and follow sales brand standards, and corporate programs
- Actively promote the hotel and its full-service food and beverage operation through various channels such as trade shows, sales calls, and networking events
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions for the hotel's sales efforts
- Develop effective promotional materials and campaigns
- Prepare and present sales reports to upper management to track performance and progress toward goals
- Understand and adhere to management company policies and procedures, and Choice brand standards
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the hotel industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and lead a team
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, as needed
- Must be able to travel for business purposes if necessary
- Knowledge of Choice Hotels and its loyalty program is a plus
