Position Summary
The Department of Psychiatry of the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center ( LSUHSC ) School of Medicine in New Orleans is seeking candidates for an academic faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor (non-tenure, clinical track) to provide Addiction Psychiatry services, care, and treatment. This is an excellent opportunity to be an integral part of nationally respected evolving mental health programs. Position may include an opportunity to serve in a leadership role for the Addiction Psychiatry Section and Fellowship Program for candidates with leadership experience as well as excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Position may also include some involvement in undergraduate medical education, as well as psychiatry resident and fellowship training programs.
