General Statement of Job
The IT Manager/Analyst is a self-starter who manages the day-to-day technology needs of the company including Epicor 10 support as well as general network/workstation administration. Core responsibilities of this position include ABL coding; creating BAQs, BPMs, SSRS reports, and Crystal Reports; creating customizations; utilizing Bartender; automating business logic; and testing processes. In addition, this role provides technical assistance to the user base, answering questions and resolving computer issues in person, or via telephone, or electronically. This position assists in the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, email, and operating systems. External Epicor 10 development and network support teams support the IT Manager/Analyst with ERP customization, network, and desktop support as needed.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions
Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or customizations
Design, program, and implement ERP enhancements, utilizing external programmers as appropriate
Manage Epicor systems customization, network enhancement, and other technology-based projects with third-party vendors
Create ad-hoc SSRS and Crystal Reports utilizing data from the Epicor 10 SQL database
Conduct office automation feasibility studies, including workflow analysis, space design, or cost comparison analysis
Build, configure, troubleshoot, and repair PCs for deployment in office and warehouse environments
Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors' third-party support teams
Oversee the daily performance of computer systems
Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems
Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications
Maintain records of and prepare reports from Help Desk Software
Develop training materials and procedures, or train users in the proper use of hardware or software
Read technical manuals and attend conferences and seminars to maintain knowledge of hardware and software
Manage projects for IT improvements in the Indianapolis and Columbus facilities
Expected to understand advanced SQL database management concepts such as sharding, indexing, and table joining to design databases and database queries that are fast and efficient at retrieving and editing large volumes of data.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or computer-related field from an accredited institution
5+ years of experience in Epicor 9/10 customization programming and systems management and support
5+ years of experience with MRP, manufacturing, and production planning processes
Proficiency in SSRS / Crystal Reports writing
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Server, Microsoft Exchange, network systems, and hardware (scanners, printers, etc.)
Working knowledge of antivirus/antimalware solutions, shared resources (mapping drives and setting user access rights), disaster recovery, and configuration and troubleshooting issues related to DNS, DCHP, etc.
Strong technical knowledge of desktops, laptops, network printers, networking equipment, and wireless-connected devices
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of up to seventy-five pounds.
