Job Summary
This position is to promote Southwest Construction Services and sell our Waterproofing services while providing the upmost customer satisfaction.
Job Duties
Develop prospect lists and geographically organizing prospects.
Able to take calls to facilitate appointments, call prospects and customers, close sales, proposal preparation, and follow ups.
Attend weekly meetings [6 face-to-face, 20 proposal follow ups, 3-5 requests for proposals (RFPs)]
Schedule meetings with customers.
Assist the production, estimating, and accounting departments as necessary for sold projects (ie. management, contracts, change orders, collections, etc.).
Attend company functions when required (out of town, evening, early morning, weekend, overnight stays, etc.).
Build relationships with customers (ie. breakfast, lunch, dinner, happy hours, etc.) - expenses to be reimbursed twice a month after approval from VP.
Achieve assigned sales quota on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Manage ongoing projects, budget setups, overseeing work, ASIs, RFIs, change orders, weekly job-site meetings, etc.
Assist other departments as necessary on sold projects.
Attend any training provided or furnished trainings by the company.
Job Requirements
Building envelope experience
Develop and maintain client/vendor relationships
Job site visits and attend pre construction/ pre installation meetings
Conflict resolution skills
Preferred Skills & Background
3+ years of Sales/Construction Industry Experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Navigate takeoff software preferred
