**Coordinator, Group Sales**

The Coordinator, Group Sales - a key member of the Sonder Sales team - will drive Sonders revenue in two significant ways by 1) managing rooming list and individual reservations for definite group blocks, and 2) supporting incoming group lead response in partnership with group sales managers.

The Coordinator, Group Sales is responsible for managing all definite group room blocks and reservations within the assigned territory. This position will work in lockstep with Group Sales Managers for a seamless client/guest experience. Well versed in the hospitality sales process and skilled at simultaneously managing multiple projects, this position will act as the liaison between the sales team and the city operations teams to ensure a flawless booking process for all group attendees, planners and decision makers.

In addition to managing group blocks, this position serves as the hub of group sales optimization including: account and lead management as they bring to life and operationalize signed agreements, process leads, educate our clients on the Sonder experience, help execute sales agreements and foster meaningful customer relationships. The Coordinator, Group Sales will also be responsible for supporting, collaborating with and using various sales systems, strategies and processes. The Coordinator, Group Sales will be agile, driven by self-leadership, and have a keen sense of prioritization in order to complete these various tasks throughout their day.

**AT SONDER YOU WILL:**

* **Manage** reservations for group room blocks (rooming list and individual)

* **Coordinate** rooming list, monitor cut off dates, obtain rooming list by the cut off date and in accordance with the sales contract, set up billing arrangements, special requests, VIP clients, and coordinate group arrivals with city operations teams.

* **Meticulously Maintain** unit blocks across all sales systems to ensure accurate reports and revenue forecasts.

* **Support** the Group Sellers with guest/group contact communication, lead management, reservation fulfillment, and general account support.

* **Assist** with customer service inquiries for group accounts and ensure quick resolution while also keeping all internal stakeholders updated.

* **Provide** consistent, exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers.

* **Prepare** Group Resumes/Turnover forms to ensure appropriate information communicated to City Operations Teams for flawless execution.

* **Collaborate** with internal cross functional teams including city operations teams, central guest services, legal, finance and real estate, and others that work directly with the sales organization.

* **Ensure** all leads and reservations are accurately entered into and managed in Salesforce.

* **Process** group commission payments to third parties in partnership with FinOps.

* **Actively Participate** in departmental and cross-functional meetings.

**WHAT WE LOOK FOR:**

* Minimum 2 years of customer facing experience in the hospitality or travel industry, preferably in the group sales space.

* Strong understanding of the hotel industrys group reservations landscape.

* Strong ability to see projects through from beginning to end; an organized multi-tasker who thrives on managing multiple projects at the same time.

* Super-communicator, both internally and externally, with strong interpersonal skills; Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships to drive partner satisfaction and growth.

* Proven ability to improve and/or streamline processes in a growing, changing, complex environment.

* Skilled in both Microsoft and Google suites of products, Salesforce, and other sales enablement tools.

* Excited and passionate about Sonder, reaching sales targets, and working cross-functionally to build a world class Sales organization!

* Passionate, positive, and ability to flex and adapt with a growing organization!
