Normal work hours will be 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday through Friday in our office in the "Old Bellevue" neighborhood just outside downtown, with regular visits to our offices in Seattle, Mercer Island, and Kirkland. No "on call" hours and very infrequent weekend work - always with plenty of advance notice.
Our IT Technician supports both the human and technical sides of technology. You will report to the IT Manager and work closely with him, the Systems Administrator, and an MSP team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Remote help desk and on-site support across multiple locations (including printer/scanner issues, connectivity, permission changes, company-wide password management program, multi-factor authentication programs, VOIP phone system, fax system, and setting up Mobile Device Management on cell phones)
Set up workstations (laptop, monitors, docking station, peripherals) for new hires
Work closely with our MSP to configure and deploy new and replacement workstations
Laptop decommissioning - wiping, disposing or making available for MSP to redeploy
Provide end-user training and maintain technical "How To" guides
Provide regular updates on common problems encountered and identify longer-term solutions/improvements to reduce future problems
2+ years of professional experience in a tech support position OR certificates from Comp TIA (A+, Network+, Security+) or Microsoft 365 equivalent
Hands-on experience troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, systems and network issues, including installing, upgrading, repairing, moving, and replacing laptops and peripherals
Experience maintaining a Windows Server-based network, including Active Directory and Office 365 Suite
Outstanding attention to detail and high quality of work
Excellent communication, customer service, time management, and prioritization skills
Passion for solving problems and conducting research into a wide range of computing issues
Ability to travel between office locations as needed, including valid driver's license and dependable vehicle (mileage will be reimbursed)
Ability to lift 40 pounds
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IS Management or related field is preferred
Experience with Salesforce, SharePoint, ConnectWise, Okta IdP, M365, and/or Meraki is a plus

In terms of pay expectations, we assess each candidate individually based on their experience and qualifications and offer competitive compensation that reflects the value they bring to the team. Base pay for this position typically starts between $35 and $40 per hour plus an annual bonus and a generous benefits package.
