Fast-growing restaurant group with a loyal following is looking for a creative, experienced Marketing Manager to join their talented team! This role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing and promotional strategies for the group’s concepts, with the goal of broadening outreach, engaging new guests, and keeping current guests informed and building brand awareness. The ideal candidate is an intelligent, proven self-starter with an entrepreneurial approach, outside of the box thinking, and a genuine passion for great food and hospitality. Candidates with a background in restaurants and/or hospitality are highly preferred. This role will be based out of the corporate office in West Hollywood a minimum of 3 days per week. Marketing Manager Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze existing marketing campaigns to improve strategy and tactics, and reach new markets/audiences
Create copy for and maintain updates to company website and websites for individual restaurant concepts
Design and write copy for printed and digital marketing collateral; i.e. check presenters, flyers, signage, menu adjustments, event/catering decks, business cards, social media graphics, etc.
Liaise with external graphic designers and programmers/coders for large-scale projects and website updates
Work with Fractional CMO to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns for both restaurant concepts; including the design, writing, and distribution of e-newsletters and maintenance of e-mail lists
Ensure that review sites like Yelp, Google Business, TripAdvisor, etc. have current photography, descriptions & hours, and identify opportunities to organically solicit positive reviews
In partnership with the Social Media Director, manage and maintain social media platforms for all of the concept’s channels, ensuring engaging content that is consistent with each concept’s brand vision
Identify new platforms for outreach
Outline SOPs for SEO best practices and strategies
Liaise with chefs, partners, managers to develop a distinct, creative voice consistent with the style and values of each brand
Off-site visits to individual restaurant concepts as needed
Respond to customer inquiries and engage with followers across various social media platforms
Identify and explore partnership opportunities to broaden brand reach
Maintain strong relationships with local media outlets, bloggers, and influencers to increase visibility and increase brand value
Assist with promotional events, tastings, and collaborations
Marketing Manager Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; with at least 2 years’ experience in a management role (Manager or Director level)
Hospitality or experience working in restaurants is highly preferred
Must be based in Los Angeles and able to work out of West Hollywood 3 days per week
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Must be social media savvy and comfortable using platforms like Instagram, Facebook and X for business pages
Excellent time management, organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to work effectively, independently and accurately with minimal supervision
Excellent graphic design, photography, and editing skills
Experience with content creation
Very strong written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
Strong sense of work ethic, professionalism and polish
Strong project management skills, proactive problem solving skills and strong sense of resourcefulness
Refined computer skills, including but not limited to: all Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Creative Programs (i.e., InDesign, Photoshop/Lightroom, Illustrator)
Experience and proficiency with e-mail marketing programs like Mailchimp and Square
Familiarity with website platforms like Wordpress and Squarespace and familiarity with SEO
Prior exposure to web-based design and social media monitoring programs like Canva and Buffer are preferred, but not required
MUST be able to work collaboratively and assist others
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule as necessary and be able to travel as needed
Compensation Package Includes:
Base Salary in the $80-100k range DOE
Discretionary Bonus
