We are seeking an experienced Sr. Campaign Manager to own the development and execution of marketing campaigns for Amazon Web Services (AWS) AI and Machine Learning solutions, with a focus on generative AI. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall campaign strategy, execution, evaluation, and optimization for the US and Canada. You will have the opportunity to drive digital and content strategy through paid media, email nurture, social media, site merchandising, events, and webinars. You'll partner closely with internal stakeholders in Field Marketing, Global Campaigns, and Product Marketing teams, as well as external agencies and third-party content developers and publications.

The ideal candidate will be skilled at managing multiple high-profile marketing projects simultaneously, in partnership with cross-functional teams. They will have experience translating customer needs and business priorities into marketing strategy, plus a proven track record of executing integrated multi-channel campaigns that expand awareness, acquire and convert new leads, and drive demand. The right candidate has successful experience in results-driven marketing, content strategy, response-based segmentation, testing and optimization, and project management.

Position will be located in an Amazon/AWS U.S. Corp office (see location details below). Relocation offered from within the US only to these locations. Three days per week in-office is required. Some travel is expected, up to 1-2 weeks per quarter.

Key job responsibilities

- Create, execute, and manage campaigns focused on AWS priority solution themes that are designed to generate leads and pipeline for AWS sales teams in the Americas.

- Work across a dynamic ecosystem of stakeholders to define, develop, and implement integrated campaign strategies.

- Lead project planning for multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email and digital marketing strategy, paid media, events, and sales enablement.

- Utilize targeting, customer segmentation, and buyer’s journey to architect innovative engagement programs.

- Work with field marketing, digital marketing, event marketing, and external agencies to execute campaigns and extensions.

- Manage overall campaign budget with accountability for return on investment (ROI).

- Partner closely with the Global Campaigns team to ensure campaign consistency.

- Support localization efforts for assets and campaign programs based on language preference.

- Dive deep into data using Marketo, Salesforce.com, and Tableau to provide visibility into campaign results, measure effectiveness, and drive strategic decision making focused on optimization.

- Maintain clear, consistent, and frequent communication with stakeholders on campaign strategy, tactics, goals, and performance.

- Work with Marketing Operations and Lead Management teams on campaign tracking, lead scoring, and reporting.

- Develop an annual campaign plan and manage a calendar to provide transparency for and create alignment with key stakeholders.

- Partner with key subject matter experts in marketing and sales to translate content into customer action.

A day in the life

During campaign development you will work collaboratively with key stakeholders and partners, including Field Marketing, Global Campaigns, Product Marketing, and agencies, developing campaign and extension strategies. You will then work in close collaboration with Digital Marketing, Field Marketing, Event Marketing, Partner Marketing, and Paid Media teams to activate and launch campaign and extension activities. Post launch, you will track campaign results and report results on a weekly and monthly basis to key stakeholders. You will highlight performance against goals and identify risks, challenges, areas of opportunity, and optimizations to be implemented based on insights garnered from data.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

The base pay for this position ranges from $94,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
