The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for the the overall operations and leadership of the hotels so that they achieve and exceed their revenue goals and guest satisfaction targets.
Working in close partnership with the HotelLeadership Teams, the Regional Director of Operations will provide leadership for all hotels in their region, motivating managers and team members, to carry out the mission and deliver on Guest experience.
The Regional Director of Operations is accountable for leading and planning the resources, tasks, requirements, systems, and processes related to the operations of the hotels, for creating an positive work environment that results in the delivery of exceptional guest service, and for identifying opportunities for further efficiencies.
Specific Job Skills and abilities needed:
Operations focused and results driven.
Excellent communication skills.
Professional in appearance and presentation.
Experience in developing and managing budgets
Strong leadership skills to lead the team to achieve high levels of performance and exceed goals.
Ability to connect with hourly team members to ensure training and tools are being provide to ensure the hotel’s success.
Demonstrate group presentation skills: conduct and orchestrate monthly, quarterly, and annual meetings.
Build Teams morale and group commitment to goals and objectives.
Ability to travel to locations with the assigned region.
Qualification Standards:
Bachelor’s degree | preferably in Hospitality/Hotel Management
Minimum 2years experience in hotel industry with multiple brands and units.
Computer Skills: MS Office, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of hotel management property systems (ex: M3, iBuy, Opera)
Experience in supervisory or management roles of hotel managers or department heads.
