The Role AspenTech’s Power IBU (Open Systems International – OSI), is a fast-paced, growing, high-technology business. As a world leader in the Operations Technology (OT) field, OSI develops and supplies state-of-the-art energy management, optimization, and control software solutions to electric utilities, gas utilities, and process industries. AspenTech’s mission is to support existing industries and play an active role in leading a clean energy transition.We seek a high-energy marketing professional to work as Senior Product Marketing Manager focused on the following solution areas: 1. AspenTech Operational Insights for Emissions Management and other use cases; 2. O&G-Midstream Continua (Gas/Liquid/Field Solutions); these will build on the monarch SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) platform for O&G.The Senior Product Marketing Manager is a global position with go-to-market responsibility for and collaborates with customers and globally distributed cross-functional teams in Sales, Product Management, Marketing Programs, and Field Marketing to achieve business success as measured by growth in usage, revenue, and market share. Your Impact Drive the development and execution of strategy and tactics in key market segments of utilities such as power and process industries
Articulate the value of AspenTech's solutions to several business stakeholders
Develop value-based positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market
Identify Best Practices through research and case studies from customers
Develop sales and marketing materials and drive sales enablement
Translate technical terminology into comprehensible messaging to ensure successful marketing campaigns with compelling content
Develop conference content and identification of customer papers for AspenTech’s Global Conferences and customer-facing marketing events
Create content to drive solution awareness with product collateral, whitepapers, web, video, and social content
Work collaboratively with Product Management and Marketing to ensure solution area messaging is representative of industry dynamics
What You'll Need 5+ years’ experience of success in all or some of the following areas: Downstream oil and gas, refining and chemicals, hydrogen, LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), fertilizer and ammonia, emissions management, and power systems
Experience in some or all or the following solution areas: Software, data visualization, SCADA for O&G, or gas solutions
Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to the energy industry; MBA is a plus
Writing, message crafting, and public speaking skills
Demonstrated ability to understand and convey complex information clearly and concisely
Self-directed, highly motivated, detail-oriented, charismatic, and personable
Ability and willingness to travel at least 10% including internationally
