Your mission The Field Service Engineer provides on-site and remote service and support to internal and external customers. She/he provides feedback and service knowledge to other departments to drive improvements and share information on our Molecular Cartography 1.0 Workflows and system service. The Field Service Engineer performs Service activities at clinical and scientific research sites according to approved written instructions, and documents the activities performed.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on our Molecular Cartography 1.0 workflows
Install and remove our Molecular Cartography 1.0 workflows
Document activities, as required
Coordinate service activities with site personnel, as needed
Provide technical phone support to customers
Train others to perform servicing activities on our Molecular Cartography 1.0 workflows
Generate service instruction documentation
Propose design changes to improve reliability, serviceability, and the customer experience
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Support manufacturing, as needed
Your profile Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering/Science field or equivalent experience
Experience of servicing electro-mechanical products, medical devices preferred
Exceptional customer service skills and professionalism
Ability to troubleshoot and solve malfunctions in complex electromechanical systems
Excellent organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Detail-oriented
Ability to follow procedures without deviations
Up to 50-70 % travel
