Immediate opening for a Field Service Engineer with a biopharmaceutical companyin Long Island, NY whopossesses:
2+ years of field service engineering, with 1 year on medical devices
Experience with troubleshooting electromechanical devices and taking them apart step by step to repair or send order for new parts
Experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters and others tools for testing/repair of electromechanical device

FULL DESCRIPTION : Answer incoming calls and place outbound calls to patients and doctor's offices, answer inquiries and questions, handle health insurance information, provide information, create leads, and book appointments with doctor offices.
The selected candidate willbe responsible for:
Perform the assigned preventative maintenance for company products
Perform the installation and removal of company products
Troubleshoot and correct problems with all products in field
Create strong relationship with the users of the product in the assigned accounts
Accurately complete relevant paperwork as deemed required in a timely fashion
Adheres to the company service level agreement
Travel and multi-tasking
Provide phone support
The selected candidate will also possess:
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
3+ years of work experience in field service for Medical Devices or similar multi-disciplinary devices
Experience managing a territory including time management, within a designated area
Demonstrate good time management and a passion for skills development to achieve goals
Knowledgeable in Lasers and Multidisciplinary equipment
Proficient in computer use and technology to enhance performance (i.e Outlook, Excel, Word)
Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities
Demonstrated ability to work in close collaboration with customers, sales and provide excellent customer service
Computers, Cell phones, and field service equipment
Must be able to use hand tools and meters as it relates to medical devices
Must be able to lift 75 pounds
Must be able to kneel, squat, sit on the floor for periods of time
Work independently in home office and customer offices
Salary Range: $75k-95k/yr
