Job Description
We are currently hiring a Formula Management Developer I in Boston, MA or Breinigsville, PA (Hybrid*) .
*A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams' weekly schedule.
The Formula Management Developer I will be responsible for regulatory compliance from a Quality Assurance prospective, tech transfer to ERP, manage handover to manufacturing transition, raw material introduction, method qualification/validation and transfer, and process validation. This position will support all process and technology transfer risk assessments, technical reports, change controls, deviations and discrepancies related to process validation activities. The role also ensures the seamless transition of formulas and processes, ultimately contributing to the successful manufacturing of products with consistent quality. As a member of Quality team, this person will work cross-functionally with Research & Innovation and Supply Chain to ensure success of method post technical transfer, review of data, and inventory management monitoring for formula change cut over.
What You'll Brew:
Formula recipe compliance validation
Testing and validation activities for new and revised software functionality
Technology Transfer
Assist in the meeting of task milestones and overall product launch schedule
Balance multiple requirements to meet schedule expectations
Provide QA oversight in development and review of new product master batch records, bill of materials, and sampling plans
Change control assessment and approval to assure proper impact assessment and sufficient testing to develop and maintain a validated state; emphasis on New Product Introduction change controls
Formula recipe troubleshooting

In accordance with pay transparency lawsthe salary range for this role if hired is $45,000 - $100,000 annually based on location and the experience level of the candidate. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
