Role Summary:
The New Accounts Associate is pivotal in facilitating our client's journey from the initial account opening to ongoing account maintenance. This role, which is part operations and part compliance, demands a meticulous and reliable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish, should be a superstar in administrative capabilities, eager to apply their skills in a new domain where detailed compliance and operational management are key. We are committed to training the right individual who can grow into this role, providing them with all the tools necessary for success.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the account opening process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Distinguish between different account types and apply appropriate procedures.
Manage client onboarding, including data entry and documentation collection, within set timeframes.
Review and verify documentation for new advisory and brokerage accounts.
Serve as a primary contact for operational inquiries, providing timely and accurate assistance.
Maintain strict adherence to security protocols and regulatory compliance.
Engage in mandatory training programs to enhance expertise in relevant areas.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
? At least 2 years of proven administrative experience, with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and work independently under pressure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro, and client onboarding platforms.
Demonstrates a proactive approach to problem-solving and detail-oriented work ethic.
Some college education preferred; Bachelors degree a plus.
FINRA SIE Certification and FINRA Series 99 preferred or must obtain within 6 months of employment.
