Our client, a law firm in Boston, is seeking a Legal Recruitment Manager to own attorney recruiting.
Some responsibilities include: Developing and driving direct-sourcing/headhunting campaigns aligned with client demand. This would involve making direct contact with target lawyers, provoking preliminary conversations and gathering and sharing market intelligence.
Owning full-cycle attorney recruitment process
Strategizing, implmenting, and building out a summer internship program for campus recruiting
Working with our client team to source and 'match' suitable candidates from our panel of consultant lawyers to client engagements.
Manage lateral partner onboarding
Develop and maintain relationships with local law schools and affinity bar associations. Identify and coordinate internship opportunities firm-wide.
Work with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee on initiatives to broaden candidate pool.
Key Requirements:
Bachelors Degree and/or Advanced Degree from accredited college or university required.
A minimum of five years of recruitment experience in a law firm.
Knowledge of and experience in the U.S. legal market, ideally gained by working within a law firm.
Experience of managing attorney recruitment process
A collaborative, solutions-focused mind-set.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly establish rapport, build trust and demonstrate credibility with a range of personalities.
Exceptional organizational skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
