Recruiter - Talent Acquisition
The Recruiter will be a key asset in achieving defined forecasted growth plans for Fire Safety and Protection LLC and will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition within the Human Resources department.
The Recruiter possesses a marketing mindset to serve as the first point of contact to communicate with and welcome prospective employees. The Recruiter will work in a high-volume capacity sourcing competitively for skilled labor and administrative roles primarily, including entry level to certified Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Techs.
Fire Safety and Protection LLC is a dynamic environment that requires a recruiter who adapts easily to change. The ideal individual will have had experience assimilating acquired companies into the corporate vision, while respecting and appreciating all employees involved.
Responsibilities
Full-cycle high-volume recruiting: holding strategy calls with hiring managers, sourcing candidates, screening interviews, crafting and presenting qualified profiles, scheduling interviews, and securing signed offer letters.
Serve as first contact for prospective employees: Present the company history, company principles, company culture, and our focus on health and safety.
Create a pipeline of qualified prospective candidates for future hires: Evergreen requisitions, drip campaigns, company target lists.
Hold strategy intake calls for new requisitions and participate in weekly requisition reviews with hiring leadership.
Perform job requisition compliance activities.
Use the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to create, update, post, and promote open job requisitions.
Keep the ATS applications current with quality candidates by sourcing, screening, presenting, scheduling, and updating candidate progress.
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of the Human Resources Department.

Requirements
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster and develop candidate and hiring manager relationships to successful outcomes.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
5+ years of recruiting experience required, including working with an ATS required.
Experience recruiting skilled labor: fire and life safety, HVAC, construction, facilities services, manufacturing using conventional and creative sourcing strategies.
Experience with Microsoft Office Outlook, Teams, Word required. Experience with HireEZ and Indeed preferred.
Experience recruiting for Ontario Canada in addition to the US east coast preferred.
Knowledge of current labor laws that pertain to the hiring process.
Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Teams

Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, communicate verbally, type using a laptop for prolonged periods of time, hear conversations and understand nuances of communication, work on multiple projects at the same time.
