Summary
Langham Logistics, Inc. is a 35-year-old Indiana-based company providing comprehensive cold chain and ambient temperature warehousing and transportation solutions that our customers, many Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical companies as well as other biotech, rely on as an extension of their businesses.
We are seeking an exceptional leader located in the Indianapolis, IN area to join our team and drive significant growth in our Life Science cold chain services. This leadership position will play a crucial role in rapidly scaling our growing platform in this underserved market by leveraging Langham's state-of-the-art network of cGMP facilities and extensive experience in cold chain transportation services. The successful candidate will lead in developing and executing business growth strategies with existing customers as well as acquiring new clients.
Performance Evaluation
Performance will be evaluated based on meeting the requirements of the job description, including:
Achieving company revenue targets
Achieving new logo revenue targets
Overseeing the performance and accountability of individual sales representatives and the overall team goal
Providing the highest level of customer experience through an integrated approach with internal and external stakeholders
Critical Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviors
Experience with pharmaceutical manufacturers, technical expertise in cGMP operations, and regulatory knowledge are preferred.
Deep business development leadership experience with demonstrated success in solution selling at the C Suite level (senior decision makers) is essential for this role.
Success in attracting, retaining, and developing team members to support a growing organization is critical.
Be the leader for trade show and conference strategy including attendance, panel discussions, lead generation and follow-up for the sales team
CRM oversight to drive revenue management (pipeline)
Analyzing and driving action on customer data, market trends and customer feedback
Ability to pivot in a fast-paced growth environment.
Travel as needed.
Experience and Education
The successful candidate should have:
A minimum of 5-8 years of managing a sales team and successfully directing the development of new customer revenue streams and growing existing customer engagement
Work is performed at Langham headquarters located in Indianapolis, our other warehouse locations and onsite client visits.
