Description: Strategic Imperative:
The Account Executive I is integral to our operation for generating revenue and growing Chargie’s client base. As Chargie expands into new markets AEs are responsible for prospecting, creating velocity, expanding existing relationships, and identifying and growing new clients to close sales.
Primary Objectives:
Prospect and contact potential customers, extensive cold calling
Document progress in a CRM to assist in tracking and forecasting
Conduct site walks and collect technical information to synch with engineering
Increase sales velocity in new markets and high margin builds
Maximize number of chargers per location
Reach agreed upon sales targets by a deadline

Detailed Job Duties: (typical monthly, weekly, daily tasks which support the primary objectives)
Work in tandem with Sales Management and or a Sales Mentor to cultivate new customers by:
Cold calling and prospecting new clients
Contacting warm leads as distributed by upper management
Working House Accounts to maintain and grow the relationship
Contract explanation and negotiation with clients
Site feasibility walks to determine viability of any project
Drive to multiple projects for meetings and site analysis
Requirements: The MUST Haves: (ex: skills, education, experience, certifications, licenses)
At least One (1) year of prior work experience or internships in Retail, Customer Support, Marketing, Business Development, or another relevant industry
Strong negotiation skills
Strong communication skills
Intermediate knowledge level of Microsoft Office Suite
Valid drivers license
The Nice to Haves: (preferred additional skills, education, experience, certifications, licenses)
One or more (1+) years of sales experience is preferred
A.A. Degree from a two-year college or technical school with a focus on sales preferred
Knowledge of sales cycle and solution selling techniques
Previous experience with CRM applications
Previous experience in the EV Charging or Broadband industry sectors is a plus!
All positions within Chargie require the following (unless otherwise specified or required for the job, see below):
Physical Ability:
Sit up to 5 hours per day
Stand up to 5 hours per day
Lift, carry, push up to 25 lbs.
Ability to work M-F during the core hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Ability to listen, read, organize thoughts, analyze, and communicate (both in verbal and written form, in English, in a concise and professional manner).
Ability to type on a keyboard and utilize the computer work tools constantly and with proficiency (specifically the MS Office Suite)
Timely communication and responsiveness to peers and management
Regular and consistent attendance to work and meetings
Ability to receive and offer feedback in a professional and positive manner
