THE ROLE: Technical Account Manager, Managed Services (Presales)

Job Summary:

As a Technical Account Manager you will work closely with core sales team and focus on promoting and selling Managed Services to existing and potential clients. The TAM will be responsible for providing in-depth product knowledge, technical expertise, and training to the sales team and clients. The TAM will collaborate with cross functional teams (Operations, Sales, Architects, etc.) to ensure that the service meets the customers expectations.

Travel Requirements:

In this role you will be expected to travel up to 30%. It will be based in any location in the United States with preference for candidates that reside in the Southeast region of the United States.

Job Responsibilities:

Promote Managed Services to increase revenue and achieve sales targets.

Provide technical expertise, product knowledge, and training to the sales team in the promotion of the service.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of new offerings.

Maintain expertise in the industry, market trends, and competitors to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

Proactively assess, clarify, and solve client needs on an ongoing basis as apart of managing the entire sales process and client relationship.

Build and curate strong relationships with core sales teams through shared success.

Do discovery sessions with clients to better understand their challenges and needs.

Build and provide solutions including quotes, pricing, proposals, etc.

Leverage inside sales team for administrative tasks

Provide customer feedback to the operations team to improve products and services.

Responsible for demonstration of tools, day to day, etc

Owns deliverables to the Account team and customers.

Proposals, SOWs, etc

Required Skills:

Strong communication and presentation skills

Technical knowledge and technical sales experience in professional and/or managed services

Experience designing & architecting technical solutions

Self-Motivated, results-driven, and customer oriented

Comfortable working and collaborating in a team dynamic

Experience with selling tools (Salesforce, Quoting systems, etc.)

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience

Over all 6 years in technical sales or presales
