**The Opportunity:**
Were looking for an Operations Manager to successfully run the daily operations of ourretail, floral and events across three locations (North Park, South Park, Oceanside). Food & Beverage management is not included in this role. Youll build, train, coach, and supervise an exceptional team of retail staff. Youll collaborate with the management team to define and execute on the business strategy and financial targets. Youll help create a values-driven team environment that brings out the best in your team. Most importantly, youll ensure that our team goes above and beyond to make every customer feel at home here. This position will travel between locations.

**Responsibilities (not comprehensive) :**
* Adheres to all company policies and protocols, and holds other employees to that standard
* Retail and floral associate hiring, including interviewing, onboarding and training.
* Work with owner to build events department of the business
* Aids in monitoring retail and floral sales performance on ongoing basis
* Coaches/mentors staff. Aids in retail policy creation
* Utilizes staff in most effective way to meet shop goals and provide excellent customer service.
* Models standards of excellence in customer service through direct interaction and handling customer complaints and issues.
* New product and merchandise display
* Places new and recurring product orders. Maintains positive relations with vendors
* Stocking and straightening floor merchandise
* Receiving, and stocking new product
* Receives and ships online orders
* Working with social media & marketing team on promoting product
* Update website with current inventory
**Requirements:**
Mostly, we want to know that you can get this job done. This means, you have/are:
* 1 year of manager experience at a high quality, high volume retail shop with high customer service standards
* 1+ years experience as a manager (strongly preferred).
* A college education (preferred).
* A proven ability to handle fast paced environments while keeping an eye on excellence.
* Excellent communication and coaching skills.
**Position Details:**
This is a full-time salaried position. Salary range is 62,500 - 68K Benefits include sick time, vacation, and matching IRA (after one year) . Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) San Diego County.
