Account Associate

Salary Range: $70,000.00 To 80,000.00 Annually
Account Associate responsibilities include account management and development of new business within an assigned account(s)/territory by prospecting to customers as well as the management of existing accounts. The position includes oral and written communication with client representatives, data entry, reviewing and entering work orders, generating, and recording shipping documents, Internet research, desktop publishing, scheduling, and annual reporting. Position is inside sales/administration with the ability to travel to client sites if approved by regional sales manager.
Responsibilities
Meet and exceed sales goals and profit margins
Build profitable sales in an assigned territory through additional sales with current or new customers
Demonstrate commitment to identify and pursue new clients in accordance with ACT’s targets
Provide customer technical support to increase our overall value to the customer
Act as primary service contact for accounts assigned to you on incoming order inquiries
Enter client orders and customer requests via our internal operation system (EW)
Communicate with clients regarding status, service requirements and any issues pertinent to service
Take incoming calls and provide pricing for small waste pick ups
Prepare quotations for new wastes at existing clients (accounts Identify, profile and direct waste streams to disposal facilities in accordance with GM/RSM approval
Prepare and manage waste profiles within internal operation system (EW)
Follow up on customer issues, deliverables, etc. (post pick up phone calls or emails)
Focus on customer retention and improving overall customer satisfaction
Attend department quarterly business review meeting and submit reports
Manage a “CRM system” and sales tracking systems.

Education/Experience
Sales or Marketing Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (Degreed; Business, Marketing, or Science)
Experience with sales, administration, and marketing
