East Daley Analytics (EDA), the North American Midstream Expert, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join the frontline team in disrupting the North American energy markets. In this role, you will be engaging with high-level executives at multi-million- and billion-dollar companies, to provide unique product offerings of unparalleled data and insights.
EDA is a fast-paced data and analytics company that dissects operational risk across the energy value chain. EDA, recognized as one of Colorado Companies to Watch , brings transparency to the complicated and often misunderstood energy sector and helps clients make informed strategic and investment decisions.
Salary range is $100,000 to $120,000 plus commission.
Success Metrics & Position Goals:
Engage with key clients at both the strategic and execution level to deliver results that help them win
Develop an in-depth comprehension of target client profiles and subgroup stakeholders through understanding pain points and data needs, buying decisions, and client budget dynamics
Work closely with Product Development, Marketing, Account Management, and Analytics to align sales plans for optimal go-to-market strategies for new product and feature launches
Identify vertical market and product opportunities
Manage pricing, negotiations, and contracting throughout the sales life cycle
Close subscription-based sales to new clients within the assigned vertical(s) to achieve revenue targets
Ensure client renewals and retention through regular interaction with key stakeholders to ensure continued value proposition and product fit
Enable Analytics and Product Management teams to create in-depth working relationships with subscription clients
Generate a pipeline of leads through online prospecting, cold-calling, event lists, and referrals
Job Skills:
Proven B2B subscription-based selling capabilities in an agile, scaling, and often-changing industry
Demonstrated problem-solving skills to find creative solutions in a rapidly evolving and competitive ecosystem and strong analytical capabilities are a must
Professional communication, both written and verbal
Superb interpersonal skills, always approachable and professional with the desire to build lasting relationships with clients and internally within EDA
Demonstration of a strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize competing objectives
Competitive drive and ability to negotiate
Proven ability to self-manage complex sales
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Education/Experience:
Oil and Gas industry experience is a must
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Minimum of ten (10) years in subscription-based B2B sales
Experience in navigating sales at multiple levels of an organization, including executives, with high-dollar negotiation
Extensive experience in client communication through both written and verbal presentations
Requirements:
Up to 50% of domestic travel
