Working in the eprocurement sector, we are currently looking for a Sales Director to join our team at Periscope . As a qualified Sales Director, you are responsible for the sale of our Source to Pay suite in a specified region or major geographical area and provides ongoing support to product distribution channel.

What will your main responsibilities look like?

In This Role, You Will Be Led To

Contribute to mdf commerce’s overall revenue growth.

Attract and cultivate new Tier 1 customers (US States, Canadian provinces, large cities and counties).

Increase sales by developing innovative strategies.

Assist in generating new leads by effectively managing current connections and networking with ecosystems.

Develop and present products/services presentations to prospects.

Oversee the RFP response process for Tier 1 accounts.

Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and other relevant customer information.

Represent mdf commerce at tradeshows and industry events or associations’ conferences.

Work closely with marketing on GTM strategy definition and execution.

Work as a team with the Solution Consultants, the Proposal Managers, and the Vice-President of Sales.

Have an intimate understanding of mdf commerce products and services. Keep current with the latest industry trends and news. Check on competitive activity.

Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

What elements of your professional background will be necessary and useful in this role?

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;

At least 10 years of sales experience;

At least 5 years of sales experience with a software organization;

Advanced training in recent sales techniques is preferred;

Public sector experience is preferred;

Enterprise SaaS experience is preferred.

Knowledge of procurement is a strong asset.
