Position Summary
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for the business development and sales growth for their assigned market(s), as well as being responsible for selling professional services, managed services, and technology products in the information technology space, particularly in the Commercial and Enterprise space. The Senior Account Executive is responsible for providing RavenTek's clients and prospects with the highest possible level of quality in service to their accounts, ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded. The Senior Account Executive is responsible for identifying and executing RavenTek's full stack solutions within our Commercial markets and will lead an innovative and creative approach in identifying customer needs and proposing Solutions that exceed our clients desired outcomes.
This position will manage a territory and be responsible for a multi-million-dollar quota in both product and consulting services including strategy, design, implementation, network managed services, and other applicable product solutions (i.e., Riverbed, Akamai, Splunk, etc..). The Senior Account Executive will work with management to develop account strategy, close contracts, and maintain excellent client relationships.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Achieve sales objectives primarily through sales to new customers but also through sales of additional services to existing customers.
Discover client business needs and propose appropriate products or services.
Manage assigned territory, including account planning and opportunity management.
Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about RavenTek's products and services.
Properly forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue numbers for assigned territory.
Work with key partners to drive associated product revenue.
Successfully negotiate client contracts.
Provide feedback to sales management regarding products, sales, and competitive situations.
Build and maintain trusting relationships with associates and customers.
Enter actual time worked, once complete, at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period.
Complete required compliance training as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Travel to customer sites, trade shows, and corporate events as required.

Excellent customer service skills to ensure assigned accounts meet or exceed client satisfaction through upselling.
Effective at transferring thoughts and expressing ideas using speech and listening skills to influence others and gain support.
Knowledge and strong working relationship with at least one of RavenTek's strategic partners: Akamai, Splunk, Riverbed, ServiceNow or similar partner certification preferred.
Highly motivated and able to work independently.
Strong selling skills as they relate to Virtualization, Cloud, and Managed Services sales with existing and new clients.
Strong network and consulting sales experience.
Creative problem solver.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on persuasion and presentation abilities.
Education & Work Experience
Bachelor's degree or minimum of 8 years of relevant experience and/or military experience.
5-10 years of information technology sales required.
Experience working within the technology infrastructure Value Added Reseller (VAR) space.

Work Environment
When working on-site, employee will be working indoors in an office environment with other people. Potential moderate temperature fluctuations. Typical indoor and computer related noise level, and typical office, paper, and equipment related dust. Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis.
Physical Demands
To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, the employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; see to read printed materials and computer screens; mobility to work in a typical office setting. Ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and may be required to provide recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee must be able to lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically up to 30 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
