**Description**
In partnership with the Store Director, a Sales Manager is a highly energetic and motivated leader that is responsible for leading a team of approximately 10 sales professionals and inspiring them to achieve company goals and directive. The ideal candidate, by example, provides leadership and ensures execution of revenue and margin expectations for a seasoned sales team while supporting the company leadership team to achieve overall store objectives.
**Essential Functions**
* Moves through the showroom floor to engage customers, support team members and confirm all aspects of the store experience are working
* Responsible for team of sales consultants including hiring, coaching, training, scheduling, goals and expectations and development
* Actively manages day-to-day sales including CRM sales pipeline, sales dashboard, revenue growth, margin enhancement, realizing budget targets and process improvement
* Actively manages sales professionals and sales support to engender sales and seamless hand-off of customer orders to operations, logistics and installation
* Manages project success through successful communication and handoffs to peers in the organization, e.g., PC Managers, Installation Managers.
* Monitors Sales Consultant and PC relationships to ensure they are productive.
* Facilitates regular communications/handoffs, including phone communication and follow up.
* Proactively learns about industry trends, products, the local market and leadership
* Works directly with customers in the sales process
* Networking and relationship development-works on the transaction level with key customer accounts, bubbling them up to the showroom director.
* Proactively identifies, responds to and resolves customer needs and escalations.

**Supervisory Responsibility**
This position will directly supervise the Sales Consultants.
**Work Environment**
This job operates both in a professional Showroom and outside at customers locations, events and other venues including construction sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and tablets, computer programs, smartphones, and photocopiers.
**Physical Demands**
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This role requires the ability to stand up and walk around a 20,000+ ft2 retail store for long periods of time. Bending or lifting up to 25 lbs. as necessary.
**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**
Team member must be available during the Showrooms hours when assigned for store coverage and must work 30 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
