Make an Impact as a Recruiter The Recruiter manages the entire life cycle of the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, screening, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, orientation, and reporting. This position will establish a presence in the community through external networking and hiring events, conference calls, and webinars; collaborates with functional department leadership and managers to ensure candidates meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities and competencies required for openings. The Recruiter will serve as the subject matter expert and sourcing specialist, in charge of seeking out quality candidates, confirming their qualifications and placing them in open roles for ChildCareGroup. The Recruiter functions as an independent contributor in close partnership with leadership with ownership and accountability for the establishment, activation, and implementation of the agency recruitment strategy.The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent organization and communication skills, have exceptional networking skills, possess an ability to assess a candidate's viability for a position by asking qualifying questions, and building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified candidates. Develop job postings by working with hiring managers on position specific requirements.
Sources, registers, and leads ChildCareGroup at external job fairs, career events, and local community branch outreach events as needed; some events may require working nights and weekends.
Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build candidate pipeline.
Screen and qualify candidates that meet job requirements and are a strong fit for ChildCareGroup’s culture and core values (SPIRIT).
Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with current employment laws, compliance guidelines, and CCG policies.
Manages all position postings internally and externally including, but not limited to, LinkedIn, Handshake, Work In Texas, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and other online talent pipeline sources.
Establishes relationships with regional colleges and universities as a pipeline for talent.
Utilize workforce staffing, planning methods, and reporting to predict staffing needs.
Builds and maintains relationships with various community partners to source and identify talent.
Provides guidance and training to supervisor and managers to ensure use of appropriate and effective recruiting and interviewing techniques
Maintains recruitment metrics, such as time to fill, candidates in process per requisition, staffing levels by location, etc.
Develops and manage Employee Referral Programs
Leads collaboration efforts to improve retention
Responsible for the timely production and dissemination of monthly, quarterly, and annual recruitment reports; analyzes, prepares, and presents recruitment information for use by management.
Partners with ChildCareGroup’s marketing team to develop an internal and external branding strategy for ChildCareGroup.
Assist the overall People & Culture team with creating innovating and thoughtful HR Strategy and best practices.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education And Experience Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field; experience may be accepted in lieu of college degree
SHRM and/or HRCI certifications preferred
Bilingual preferred
Minimum of 2 years in recruitment, human resources, talent acquisition or other business-related field required, non-profit experience is helpful
Customer Service oriented to effectively interact orally and through written communications across all levels of employees, leadership, stakeholders, vendors, and board members
Possesses foundational knowledge of HR laws, standards, legislation, and trends
Demonstrates flexibility, adaptability, and stronginitiative as a self-starter
Proven ability to think critically, creatively, and exercise a high level of analytical skills
Requires consistent attention to detail, planning and collaboration skills
Ability to deliver well-organized, persuasive, and informative presentations
Intermediate skillsin Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
Confidentiality required
Strong initiative to learn and utilize HR technology tools to drive efficiencies
Must have a proven track record of identifying and engaging top talent across platforms
Comfortable working cross-functionally
Travel and Compliance Must have a valid driver's license if applicable
Driving record must comply with CCG's automobile insurance carrier requirements
Must haveliability insurance coverage and reliable personal transportation
Ability to travel locally or out of town as required
Mileage reimbursement is offered when applicable
Must submit to and successfully pass all required CCG and Partner Program background checks throughout employment. These include FBI, Fingerprinting, Neglect and Abuse, Federal, State, Local, and Sex Offender background checks. Background check requirements may be expanded at the discretion of CCG and Partner Programs
